About Us

Marya has worked on film sets as a Costume Designer and Buyer for over 25 years.  Marya Duplaga's Collection is designed for Women to wear comfortably every day. She uses natural fabrics be it cotton, linen, or silk designed in classic simple styles. 

The Collection is geared to Women of all ages to wear year after year and with little maintenance. 

Studio 1686 is our store front located in Toronto, Canada. We source our Collection from Film Productions (we work in Costumes in Film) and store closures.  Some of our items are preloved, and we will state that in the description. We love to recycle and we are always donating to charities.
